  1. What is food addiction?
    • Food addiction is a physical and emotional addiction to food. The two most addicting being sugar and white flour.Food addicts use food to run from and or medicate painful feelings or from life in general. At our treatment facility, we treat the physical and the emotional issues simultaneously to ensure a successful recovery.
  2. What can I do if I think I might be in trouble with alcohol or drugs?
    • The way to find out for sure is to call a licensed alcohol/drug counselor and ask for an evaluation. The evaluation generally takes four sessions. Anything you and the counselor talk about will be held in strictest confidence.
  3. Is everyone who drinks alcoholic?
    • No, people can have problems caused by excessive drinking without being alcoholic. The best thing to do if you are worried about the possibility is to seek an evaluation. Alcoholism is one of the major killers in the country, better be safe and find out. As with any disease the sooner you seek treatment the better the chance of arresting the disease.
  4. What is D.E.E.P.?
    • D.E.E.P. is the Driver Education Evaluation program. It is for people convicted of operating under the influence of alcohol or drugs.   5. What can I do if I feel like I have no energy, sleep too much or sleep too little?
    • A mental health therapist can help you figure out if a depression is the cause. Call or e-mail one of our mental health therapists for a clinical assessment. The assessment generally takes two to six sessions.
  6. What do you Charge?
    • Our fee is $95 per hour.We accept Mainecare, medicare, private insurance and we scale to people's income.
